Considered the highest quality of the monsooned coffees, Malabar originates from the south coast of India. The name comes from the process of storing harvested green beans in open warehouses, where they are exposed to strong winds for several weeks during the monsoon season. The result is a pale yellow, sweet bean with low acidity. This incredible process makes for exceptionally smooth coffee. A coffee with a unique sweet nuance of spices, ideal after lunch or dinner.
